We’re planning on swinging by the Linkedin, IDSA and Continuum event on Abbot Kinney tomorrow night. Anybody else? Look for us if so. We’ll be the ones toting a seven week old and dipping heavily into the $2 beer and tacos.

Our 2009 1% for the Planet donations are in the books. In the past year we were fortunate enough to be able to donate to Surfrider Foundation, Outward Bound, Futafriends, League of Conservation Voters Education Fund, World Wildlife Fund, Santa Monica BayKeeper, Heal the Bay, Natural Resources Defense Council, Natural Resources Council of Maine, and Grist Magazine.

2010 Academy Awards

Sony Pictures Classics cleaned up at the Academy Award nominations this morning. Eight of their films were nominated for a total of thirteen awards. We were lucky enough to work on (or be working on) sites for six of them; AN EDUCATION (Best Picture, Best Actress, and Best Adapted Screenplay), THE LAST STATION (Best Actress and Supporting Actor), A PROPHET and THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES (Best Foreign Language Film), COCO BEFORE CHANEL (Best Costume Design) and PARIS 36 (Best Original Song).
