MMW Spring 2015
We’ve been busy here at Mixed Media Workshop these past few months. A number of film sites have gone live, including ALOFT, RED ARMY, THE SALT OF THE EARTH and the Academy Award winning STILL ALICE. Meanwhile we’re on the verge of announcing some exciting things on the film production front. Stay. Tuned.
Summer 2014 (So Far)
It’s been a busy summer for Mixed Media Workshop. We recently completed work on a smaller site for the Sony Classics’ film THE NOTEBOOK. Work on THE NOTEBOOK began as we were launching a site for the new Woody Allen film MAGIC IN THE MOONLIGHT. Also going live was a larger site for the indie music library AUDIOMS. All of this while relocating from Venice to West Adams. We’re ready for a breather, but there are more exciting things on the horizon. Stay tuned in this space, as well as here and here!

2013 Davey Awards
Mixed Media Workshop has been awarded two Silvers at the 2013 Davey Awards. Recognized was our work on websites for Sony Pictures Classics‘ NO and LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED.
The Webby Awards Gallery
The Webby Awards put together a gallery of all nominees and winners since 1997. Pretty amazing browsing, and we “stumbled” across this one from our first year in business.
2012 W3 Awards
The 2012 W3 Award winners were just announced. Taking home Gold was our site for Sony Classics‘ HYSTERIA. Our site for Sony Classics’ A DANGEROUS METHOD won Silver. Also winning Silver was MMW Image, our newest division, for the photography on Hustle and Flow Fitness‘ website. That now makes 16 total W3 Awards for Mixed Media Workshop. We promise not to let it go to our heads (but we totally rock.)
A big thanks to Sony Classics for giving us the opportunity to work on HYSTERIA and A DANGEROUS METHOD, and to Hustle and Flow for trusting us with the launch of their baby. Another thank you to Karen Yung Vasseur for her work on both HYSTERIA and A DANGEROUS METHOD.
